CLIK-DS – Designer CLIK-DS is a complete environment for designers of configurable products. The user can search, assemble, and optimize a set of parts into a finished product and display its 3-D drawing. CLIK-DS comprises of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), the CLIK Editor, and the CLIK Runtime. Product designers write short CLIK™ scripts to model a product in terms of its parametric attributes, physical constraints, and other requirements. CLIK scripts use the power of predicate logic to express even the most complex relationships and restrictions between product components. Following the product modeling step, the entire system is optimized using the CLIK Runtime. Search at the parameter levels enables looking for optimized solutions with specific selection criteria.
